вот прошло 4е года форуму - вроде добавилась масса литературы, вроде обговорили всё по третьему кругу... между тем что было и что стало "дистанция огромного размера"(C) ... но чем больше мы узнаём тем больше вопросов у нас есть...

поэтому спрошу - о чём хотелось бы узнать больше, если бы появилась книга про РЯВ или цикл статей?...

Это самое, хотя все зависит от конкретной работы.
Иногда, сухой текст документа без обработки проливает свет на многие - почему, а иногда, только анализ этих документов помогает понять ход развития событий.
Фотки вообще на многие вопросы дают однозначные ответы. Лить их для пухлости-накачки объема издания - глупость, которая у нас практикуется на каждом шагу.
Фотография - иллюстрация факта - для этого ее и надо приводить.

В первую очередь -
1. повреждения японских кораблей
2. методы управления артиллерийским огнем,
3. методика подготовки до войны (подготовка комендоров, организация "сражений").
4. Абсолютно темное место - борьба за живучесть (см. Асама и Касаги при Цусиме).

Вот 4 названия для статей:-)

По п.1 конечно же, фотки, схемы, описалова.

И по всем пунктам - документы (инструкции, рапорты) в первую очередь.
Документ он документ и есть:-) Сочнее документа книжки не бывает...

Но это так, мечты:-)

Офигенный список! Спасибо большое, хоть буду знать, что искать.

А что, планируется продолжение серии "Белые пятна войны", да ещё по заявкам пользователей? Правда "серия" это я громко сказал - пока только одну книгу видел - Деревянко - в основном о снабжении и организации манчжурской армии и устройстве разведки/контрразведки.

Точнее о структуре и функциях органов Военного министерства и Главного штаба и их практической деятельности по подготовке армии к войне и в ходе самой РЯВ, причем по всем закрепленным за аппаратом министерства и штаба направлениям. Очень интересная и познавательная книга, основанная на архивных источниках. По существу это опубликованная диссертация Деревянко - я так понял, - с добавлением к ней ранее публиковавшихся им же материалов по деятельности русской дальней и ближней разведки в РЯВ.
